Who We Are
When he was 7, Nathan Dobson heard and understood the good news of Christ's redemptive plan. He received this gospel for himself, confessed his sin and accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. During camp in his junior high years, he surrendered to God's call on his life to ministry. In 1995 he earned his bachelor of arts in Bible and in 1998 his master of arts in Biblical Studies from Northland International University in Dunbar, WI.. He served as an intern for one year under Pastor Russell Boersma at Hills Corners Bible Baptist Church, and then the church called him to continue on as assistant. For six years, he served in this ministry until God burdened him to continue his education at Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary in Lansdale, Pa., where he earned his Master of Divinity degree. God then led him back to Hills Corners in the fall of 2009 to serve as its undershepherd after God called Pastor Russell Boersma home to glory. He is thankful to serve the Lord with his wife Kristen and their 7 children.
Though Pastor Nathan enjoys camping, fishing, and hunting, he is never more happy than when he is digging into God's Word and wrestling through and weighing out what God has said and how He wants His children to bring Him glory. He loves talking with other people and pointing them toward the most important relationship in their lives.
